The 2013 U.S. Open, hosted by Merion Golf Club, is now history. Trenhamgolfhistory.org takes a look at the many dire predictions of record setting scores, but Jeff Silverman was one of the few who had it right.

We have articles about golf's #1 city, Philadelphia, plus Merion's East Course and the tournament scoring. Through the courtesy of the USGA we've also put together a fifteen minute highlight video.

Merion is still Merion and the world of golf is once again well aware of it.
